John Naka is regarded as one of the most famous American bonsai masters. He’s the artist behind Goshin, a forest planting of eleven Foemina junipers that Naka started in 1948 that now sits in the US National Arboretum. Bonsai Techniques I is one of the most comprehensive, captivating and complete books on the art. A little on the pricier side as the book is now out of print.
