There are a TON of new and veteran bonsai instructors that can teach you their strategies and techniques for growing bonsai, all in very succinct, bite-sized videos. You can access some of the most incredible trees, captured and critiqued by some of the best bonsai artists in the world.

1. David Easterbrook
David has been practicing bonsai for over 50 years and has over 700 trees in his collection. He gives amazing demos and shares some really marvelous bonsai trees, like this Metasequioa forest bonsai.
2. GroBonsai
GroBonsai provides amazing educational videos on his bonsai adventures. While he’s got some great content on TikTok, his patreon contains additional blog posts and learning materials for beginning bonsai artists.
3. Bonsai Movement
Hailing from North Carolina, Creighton of Bonsai Movement shares his award-winning bonsai trees and the techniques he’s picked up studying under bonsai legends like Mike Brawley and Ryan Neil.
4. Jerome Bonsai
Jerome of Bonsai Supply shares some highlight reels and practical tips for how to manage your trees.
5. Alexis Nicole
While not focused specifically on bonsai, Alexis Nicole shares some entertaining and edible tips from her foraging adventures in the woods.
